Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories include going to the play school as well as watching her mother do the do her job. Silk appeared in several commercials as a child. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Early theater work includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she discovered during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors training. They got married in December 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in May of 2016. Silk is famous for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. Silk was cast in the lead role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that the series was returning for a fourth season of production. Fourth season began on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples.
